Getting There

We have two chartered boats.  The Catalina Flyer departs from Newport Beach at 12:30 p.m. and goes to Two Harbors, where passengers will transfer with their gear onto Shore Boats that will take them to Camp Emerald Bay.  The Catalina Express departs San Pedro at 2:30 p.m. and goes directly into Camp Emerald Bay.

Both chartered boats are full, but you may register without boat and find your own transportation.  The best option is the Catalina Express from San Pedro at 12:30 p.m. to Two Harbors, where there will be Shore Boats to take you to Camp Emerald Bay for $18 per person round trip.  Reserve the return trip departing from Two Harbors at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

YOU MUST BE AT THE DOCK AT LEAST 45 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE TO CHECK IN AND LOAD YOUR GEAR!

IMPORTANT
Please Read
1. We need every Chief to provide a physical count of Dad’s and Daughter’s that step on the boat: This is a mandatory safety requirement. Your count must be collected at the time you step on the boat. The Nation Chiefs will accept all this information. We want to leave no person behind. This is not the number signed up but the number on board at the time of departure. If anyone joins into these numbers please make sure to tell the Nation Chiefs.

2. Saturday: After lunch for 5 minutes, there is a mandatory meeting of all old Chief’s and new chief’s – if you miss, your tribe will have toilet KP!

3. Inspections of the cabins and tents: All Catalina kid’s camps have changed the rules this year and adopted a policy of ZERO TOLERANCE on damage. You and your tribe will be held responsible for any damage not noted at the time you first set foot into your cabins or tents. You are to make note and provide these notes to the Camp Director – at check in. Let me give you the seriousness of the situation. Paint scratches will cost $130.00 per square inch.

Thank you for your cooperation,
The Nation Chiefs.
